Bad GUI settings are always a possibility and may impact the results if not set
properly. If this was a "package" prepared for other users ( as I believe it
was) - the settings were deficient (imo) and may have impacted results.

SSDF asked me to help in their setup using Arena and I initially gave them a bad
learn setting ( not really needed!) had learning turned loff. SSDF restarted
the testing with a fresh start.

Crafty winboard settings should always be explicit - especially dealing with
direcoty paths and the like.
