thanks for posting a link to the solution perhaps part of the reason no one can find the solution is because the instructions for the problem are vague..perhaps intentionally so the exact and only instructions are.. "A game begins with 1.e4 and ends in the fifth move with knight takes rook mate." i took this to mean WHITE mates on the fifth move...not black sigh.. Steve
