If you take a look at stuff offered in COMPUTER CHESS & COMPUTER BRIDGE and you compare it with the same stuff kept in ICD, you will see great differences according how they evaluate the strenght of dedicated computers. Always ICD gives them a lot lower rating, but for the other side the owner of the english shop is a known guy of the community, author of opennning books for some programs and besides he profeses "christianity", so how we could believe is is just cheating? In other words, we have not here a case of "this guy say the truth and the other one lie". One of them or both is or are making the wrong measures. I tend to put my faith in the side of ICD, but, who know if they are too much pesimistic due to bad experiencs in the beginnings of time? This is not just an academic problem as much I have been wavering before purchasing a new dedicated unit due precisely to that discrepance. If any of you knows of a third party to confront the data, please let me know. fernand
