I was recently speaking to another programmer about the dangers of null move at small search depths and I tried to direct him to a post made here, of course it was not still in the archive. I think that an archive of the programming posts here could be a lasting valuable resource, whereas an archive of "CM6000 sucks!" serves little to no purpose at all, IMO. I don't really care how this comes about - it could be through placing programming posts in a separate board, or by marking posts as programming related through a check box when making them. In the worst case, a human could even go through and categorize them for archiving, perhaps a moderator (as if they don't already have enough to do... but they should be looking at each post already in order to do their job). I like to read both the programming and the non programming posts, so I don't care if the posts are separated. I'd just like to be able to go back to programming posts from the previous months for reference. -- Steve
