DHM I'm using the tablebase engine packaged with Hiarcs 9, since it's the newest program that I have. I installed Shredder 8 first, then Hiarcs on top of it, deliberately overwriting the "older" engines. I'll go back and re-install Shredder 8, and I'll post a new message if that solves the problem.
