I have to say that I was disappointed with >the usability of the Star Sapphire, compared to say an Ipaq + Pocket Fritz 2. hi Mike well you really cant and shouldnt compare a dedicated hand held to one of those PDA'S the PDA is not a dedciated chess computer and is intended to do many other things and uses a stronger processor then the Star Ruby or Sapphire i do not have or use these pda's or pocket computers or Blackberries or Blue Berries with Cream or whatver the new name for them is i do notice that the SR has a more intuitve menu and feature selection system then the SS but of course for the lower price you get a smaller book,weaker program(less memory for hash tables)less features and no carry case its just nice to play a reasonable game of chess with and not also have to see the address's and phone numbers of everyone you ever met in your lifetime :)) Manuals going out Wednesday Regards Steve
