Fernando, Back in 1984 I got a similar response from an emergency room physician as he went down in flames to an Applied Concepts computer. He could not believe that a small silicon chip could clean his clock so viciously. We were playing between patients and I am not sure whether the myocardial infarctions were more upsetting or the chess computer. I subsequently took the chess unit up to the cardiac intensive care area to play with a post MI patient. The EKG monitor on the patient began to show extrasytolic action and it was necessary to stop the game. The patient was being murdered on the board and I was LMAO. Ahh, the good old days! TJF PS Then there was the time in 1990 that I was selling one of my old Novag Superconstellation machines to another ER MD buddy and my dog Sandy almost swallowed his pet parakeet. The bird made a bad decision in trying to peck the nose of the pitbull. Dr. Penaskovic and I were busy playing against the chess computer as we watched the dog place the bird in her mouth and then release it. It was most shocking. The dog was very gentle and no physical damage was done to the bird. The doctor, however, was most pleased at the beating he received from his new toy.
