Looks like it. For your consolation, I tried all sort of tests many times, I
even "invented" 3 of my own, and they simply don't work. A better way, I think,
is to look at the games that go to the ending with more or less even chances and
see who wins them and how. A few games will tell you which programs play better
endings. In my opinion, Hiarcs, Tiger, Shredder, Mchess and Genius. Junior 5 is
by no means weaker than the rest in the endgame.
