Roger, Yes, Alekhine is another of my favorites too ... perhaps a better all-around player than Tal. Alekhine is also one of the people mentioned as a favorite, along with Kasparov and also Fischer. What do they all have in common? All are very aggressive players with a great drive to win. Nobody ever mentions much of anyone else as a favorite. So, to have aggressive engines like Gandalf, Junior, and Hiarcs, which also play good positional chess is a big bonus! Mark
