YE GAWD!! Here I am a man with literally Hundreds of dollars to spend!! I LOVE chess!! BUT! Where o where dooo I spend my money??I have all the versions of the chessbase programs! Perhpas NOT the latest versions of them all.. but hey! We all see wassup wi dat! A NEW (supposedly) version MAY only mean a rating difference of 20 + plus points! (Indeed that is if and I reiterate IF the SSDF is NOT in cahoots with chessbase! Perhaps it is not.... Understand that I am NOT a programmer! I am an ARDENT chess enthusiast! I will pay for NEW and IMPROVED! I will indeed support programmers! Heavens - I own all the incarnations of the KING and other engines as well. But I want results! I can beat most the major engines occasionally. Strength of engine is INDEED fun! I want MORE!! Like what? Chess is a LONELY game. Intellectual masturbation if you will pardon the term! Give ME animated and deep personalities to play against! A veritable smorgasboard of personalities to play against! DO the research! I want to play against THE Nimzovich and THE alekhineanf RETI! I want a PERSON sitting across from me in perhaps the spanish room of Fritz! With actual quotes from Nimzo! INdeed ! And Nimzo's book! ANd perhaps A NE0 nimzo book as if he were alive today! have him be bizzare! Like stand on his head in a yoga position as he was reorted to have done in a tournamen especially is he looses ! AND have the Board sounds when one make a sacrifice to be LOUDER! GET the idea! Insults! I need insults!! I NEED DIALOGUE!! ESPECIALLY WITH MY FAVORITE OLD MASTERS!! HAVE NIMZO AND TARRASCH GET IN A VIDEO FIST FIGHT! I recently went into a software store where they sold Fritz 8 deluxe and a cheap 20.00 program called "tournament chess2" I bought the cheap program. Why? Because it had AMBIANCE!! Power Chess had the Power chess queen that TALKED to me!! GET the IDEA! I love fritz --etc. Do you HEAR what I am saying??
