This is untrue in some cases. An example in point is the Subject: of this post which has no bearing on the topic at hand (and the resulting spinoffs). Even a non-programming post can spin off into a programming one. To fully ensure that you are reading all of the information that you are interested in, you must read all of the posts. This is especially true since very few posts have their Subject: changed once the topic changes. Only if you are willing to miss a few posts on the topics that you are interested in can you use a filtering technique of reading only the Subject: (or titles as you named them). And yes, time is a valuable commodity. Hence, for many people, they must use a filtering technique and, hence, they will miss an occasional posting of interest. C'est la vie! KarinsDad :) [snip]
