 That depends on what you mean by overwhelming.
 If you mean simple to use then a program like Leen Ammeraals Queen that comes
with its own simple GUI as well as a WB engine might be OK.
 OTOH, if you mean playing strength. Then TSCP with a low depth limit or The
Crazy Bishop with a node limit are good coices. Any WB engine with limitations
are good choices, BTW.
