Huges developed as school project a learing modul for Pharaon in the time we work on the WinBoard Edition III, later Pharaon is free available. You can activate it as UCI option! For an example: You can use Arena in combination with Pharaon or an other GUI in combination with Pharaon, like Shredder Classic. Try it ... An other possibilitie is to use UCI Ruffian 2.x in combination with Arena Chess GUI or an other GUI. Per-Ola develops differents levels as UCI Option. In the handbook you can see the playing strenght from this levels. A third possibility is to use an engine with supported one of the new six UCI II ideas by UCI programmer Stefan Meyer Kahlen. You can say that the UCI II engine have to play with x ELO. This feature, all new UCI II feature, are implemented in Arena Chess GUI too. The problem is, that we don't have an UCI II engine which give the users to this point an really good support for this new option. So you have to wait of at the moment of the first UCI engine with supported this new UCI II feature. Best Frank
