Hi

Maybe you'll find a program suitable on my page.

http://www.geocities.com/tasteofinsanity81/stanspage

My first chessprogram(s) S-chess was very weak but knows all the rules.
If you take a look at the last version of S-chess, S-chess-3D then you'll
find an option to weaken it further, to a very low nodecount and a strength
probably around or below 1000 Elo. Well suited for someone (also children,
I think) new learning the game, and will often be able to beat it right from
the start. Also the Gui is well suited for children I hope.

And once tired of S-chess, you can switch to my current program Neurosis,
which has a lot of options to weaken it but not lower then 1200-1400 Elo or
so.

Hope they will do, and that you'll enjoy.

Greetings
Stan
