Probably not significantly. When was the last time you underpromoted in a game
or had a computer do it to you? It would be nice if the program was complete,
though. It would also be interesting in the computer vs. computer tournaments if
someone went through and calculated some statistics on this.

I assume Junior allows underpromotions as legal moves (if it doesn't, then you
could not play real chess against it, it would be a variant), it just doesn't
either generate them itself or what? It considers them only if every other move
leads to mate?

Do you know any details on this (I haven't read the other posts on this).
