are we talking about the same computers here??

the Novag Ruby is rated 1779 on the SSDF after 545 games:

163 Novag Ruby H8  10 MHz                   1779   30   -30   545   42%  1835


the Star Ruby is at least 2000 Elo

maybe a bit less
