But with the passwords for ASA new problems comes. I will not again wrote about it, you can find a a lot in the CCC threads from today. Fact is: To handle a big forum isn't really easy! We have the interest to make Arena stronger and will do it with persons which supported this idea. This is the reason that Arena is after only two years so strong and have this year more as 100.000 downloads. Martin do a good job, we all try to do a good job because we have the most fun if we know that a lot of users can play with Arena. So the name of the webpage is "Playwitharena". The name of the webpage isn't "playwithus" We can discuss by mail about your points. Only one sentence: The success of Arena is of course that Arena have a strong programmer and that the team have good ideas. The users like the ideas we have. But the team is only Martin the admins, webmaster and perhaps myself. The team are all with give us tips, ideas, bug reports. The forum of parsimony is the reason to the success too. We have no time to make all by mail and no interest to used the boring mail system. Each one can look live what we make and what the other make. To use a forum system for a development of a program is just great. But, look what I have written in the first part of this answer. With more and more persons we must give the project more and more time. This Freeware is not our full time job. We work in the free time on it. The situation isn't so easy the most are thinking. And after six years with over 30.000 messages I have written all the mails (perhaps 40.000 - 50.000 or more) my energy go to end for it. You understand, we try it to make it now more easy because we know that in the next year its possible that we have 200.000 donwloads but the secret of all is: How we can be sure to develop the GUI without to have more work with support, user questions we must give time (means not the chess topics, or the Arena topics). This is the secret of all I believe! And the answer is: A strong forum, each one can help each one! But this seems not to realize. But we start a new try on our new webpage. I am sure that the new system have success in the next year. If the system have success the users of Arena have more fun because the software is stronger again. Easy system, easy idea! Best Frank
