Fond memories. I had begun work on my second attempt at a chess program when
that book came out. I was writing in Z80 assembly - perfect. When I got the
book it turns out it's 8080 assembly which I didn't know. Fortunately they are
fairly similar so I was able to pretty well follow it. It was from that book
that I first learned how an alpha beta search works.
