I just installed Deep Junior 9 , which contains a new GUI (Chessprogram8 11/16/04). For me a long outstanding bug with importing games into an opening book has been solved ! However there appears to be some new problems. The one that I noticed is that endgame tablebase access has changed (at least on my system). Deep Fritz 8 no longer accesses any EGTB's . Deep Junior 9 only accesses 3-4-5 EGTB's (no 6-man). The key here appears to be in module TBAccess.dll . If I restore this dll from prior to DJ9 install , then both DJ9 and DF8 can access EGTB's, including 6-man. I also noticed that when you pull up the database window (F12) and try to change the font, that any new font setting that you choose is not saved. I am pretty sure that this did not happen in the old pre DJ9 GUI. Anyone else have these problems ?? Barry
