I fear it is true Ismenio. There are not many sellers in England, other than for
the cheap machines sold from department stores, games and toy shops etc. The
sales volumes for the better machines is low and the margins by necessity high.
I do not really know anything about the economics of selling in England but very
few have lasted the course. In fact I can only think of Eric Hallsworth, Ken
Gorman and the publishers of the top chess magazine here "Chess" (The London
Chess Centre). The latters current price for a Senator is $950, Atlanta $650 and
Grandmaster $375 or thereabouts.

No harm at all in what you said. It was a fair example to make your point.
I was just expressing the opinion that on Ebay it pays to consider the seller in
the calculation of whether you are getting value or not. I suppose it comes down
to a judgement of risk. I know that if I buy from Ken Gorman there is a small
risk of something going wrong but that it will be put right. If I buy off Ebay
in the USA from a seller I don't know I could be taking a big risk.
