So showing the move when >the comp have made a move and until you have made it on the board should be >enough, else it should show the clock. >While analyzing you don't need to see the clock (or move), but only score and >best move should be enough (the GM standing behind you and give suggestions). > >Odd Gunnar hi Odd i am not sure what you mean by "clicking"? the last thing on earth i want to be doing while playing chess is using a mouse my main interest is to play Blitz Games against the program WITHOUT looking at a PC screen in any way for any reason not interested in analyzing positions ,playing one prog against the next..etcetc so while i am in the heat of battle its always nice to know if the computer asseses the position roughly the same as i do however i certainly would not complain if the XL clock could show as much info as possible regarding the programs thinking.. in addition to search depth and node within that ply )also nice would be .. current move considered best current move under consideration(but not yet considered best) anticipated line of play..several ply deep etc but i am realistic here right now the XL clock will only show the move being played and of course clock times(this is with the Chessbase family of PC chess software for which it was designed) am anxious to see if the Arena GUI can manage to manipulate the XL clock to show the evaluation as well as move and clock times as Frank seems to have accomplished Steve > > >>Best >>Steve
