hi Odd

i am not sure what you mean by "clicking"?
the last thing on earth i want to be doing while playing chess is using a mouse

my main interest is to play Blitz Games against the program WITHOUT looking at a
PC screen in any way for any reason
not interested in analyzing positions ,playing one prog against the next..etcetc
so while i am in the heat of battle its always nice to know if the computer
asseses the position roughly the same as i do

however i certainly would not complain if the XL clock could show as much info
as possible regarding the programs thinking..
in addition to search depth and node within that ply )also nice would be ..
current move considered best
current move under consideration(but not yet considered best)
anticipated line of play..several ply deep
etc

but i am realistic here
right now the XL clock will only show the move being played and of course clock
times(this is with the Chessbase family of PC chess software for which it was
designed)

am anxious to see if the Arena GUI can manage to manipulate the XL clock to show
the evaluation as well as move and clock times as Frank seems to have
accomplished
