Subject: which OS is faster for handheld computer, Palm or Windows mobile?

It seems that palm operating system is more efficient than windows mobile, palm
handheld computers battery last one to two weeks, whereas windows mobile powered
last two to three days on the same processor, so it means a lot of the
processing power for goes to the windows system.

Hiarcs on palm is also way way above pocket Fritz 2(shredder) on windows.

If shredder is way way above hiarcs in PC and its the opposite that happens in
handheld computers, could it be its because of the Operating system?
