Source: Schach Niggemann www.schachversand.de Problems 13.12.2004 When making the first tests with Deep Junior 9 and Junior 9 we found a serious bug: any try to save a game in a database leads to a program crush. The manufacturer promised to solve the problem during the next few days by a patch update (internet download). A new program CD with a corrected version will not be produced in the near future. For customers without internet access the new ChessBase magazine 104 (published February 2005) will contain the same patch update. Such buyers of Junior 9 / Deep Junior 9 will receive this magazine CD for free. GERMAN: Probleme 13.12.2004 Leider mußten wir bei ersten Tests von Deep Junior 9 und Junior 9 einen recht gravierenden Programmfehler feststellen: jeder Versuch, eine Partie in einer Datenbank abzuspeichern, führt zu einem Absturz der Software. Der Hersteller will das Problem innerhalb weniger Tage durch ein Patch-Update (Download über das Internet) lösen. Eine neue Programm-CD mit der korrigierten Version wird es dagegen vorläufig nicht geben. Für Kunden, die keinen Internetzugang besitzen, wird auf dem nächsten, im Februar 2005 erscheinenden ChessBase Magazin das Patch-Update ebenfalls enthalten sein. Solche Käufer von Junior 9 erhalten von uns diese Magazin-CD bei ihrer Verfügbarkeit auf Wunsch kostenlos.
