Dear Chess Friends ! Most of you buy all new programs from Chessbase as soon as they start to sell them. So, probably you have bought Fritz (Deep Fritz), Shredder, Junior (Deep Junior),Hiarcs, Tiger, etc, etc. Have you installed all of these programs on your PCs ? Do you acctually need so many identical GUIs on you PCs ? So, please could someone explain me you actions , when you receive a new CD from the CB. Let's say you have bought the latest Junior 9 and you have already Fritz 8 installed on your PC. Do you just copy the little engine file from the new CD and paste it in to the folder with the other engines ? And I reckon each time when you want to load the new engine it suppose to ask for the CD. Still it is not clear for me why we have to buy a new GUI from CB for $80, when we just need a new engine for $40 ?! Maltemedia on the 2nd CD ? Would someone watch it twice ? I know that it is useless to send this kind of questions to ChessBase because they would ignore them. Thanks Anatoli
