Dear chess friends (with and without machines), in January 2005 Timo Klaustermeyer and myself will organize two more tournaments in Freestyle Chess. In Freestyle Chess teams are allowed with arbitrarily mixed human and computer members. On Saturday, 15 January, 2005, a tournament with 7 min + 2 sec/move bonus will be played. On Saturday, 22 January, 2005, a tournament with 12 min + 5 sec/move bonus will be played. Both tournaments will take place on the ChessBase server playchess.com . Price moneys have been doubled with respect to the Freestyle tournament from August 2004. There is also a combi prize for the team who plays in both tournaments and collects the best sum of points.
