Yes, and I've thought that all the extended versions were better than the
theatrical versions. Here's one worth checking out, which I thought was
excellent: the Director's Cut of Almost Famous. I actually saw it before the
'cut' version (because I rented the DVD) and couldn't begin to understand how 40
minutes could be removed without hurting it.
