This is no longer true for AMD Athlon 64 procs and P4 are definitely hotter and
require louder cooling than recent Athlon XPs and Athlon 64. Two years ago there
were some Athlon XP on the market which required very good cooling but that is
solved on AMDs site (today Intel has the cooling problem).
