Subject: At what point will computer vs computer elo be all that matters???

By reputation alone, I can say that

Hiarcs 9
Deep Fritz 8
Junior series

are all great programs vs humans,

I can also say that by reputation alone,

Shredder 8 is not as good vs humans as it is vs computers,

So I have to ask the question, at what point will there be no distinctive
difference between the two? If Shredder 9 comes onto the market and stomps
other programs like both its predecessors, why would it not stomp humans just
the same? Its obviously outmanouvering other programs, what is so different
about its style that is almost "transparent" to humans? Or is this all
'reputation' and not actual fact? It just seems weird to me that a program can
defeat another program that can crush a human, yet cannot do well vs humans

anyway,
Shredder 9 will surely be stronger than shredder 8, so what do people expect of
shredder 9 in the area of fighting humans?

Peter Skinner especially feels that shredder is 'weaker' than other programs vs
humans, i'd be interested as to what he has to say, and others aswell
