I played two games 30min/game w/ my palm 72 300+mhz vs. a friends laptop toshiba
1.8 centrino and fritz won 1 1/2 to a 1/2 for hiarcs. While looking at the games
I noticed that fritz on average got to 13-14ply and hiarcs could only manage 7-8
in the middle game but still the games were very close. Fritz managed to win as
white but hiarcs went out of book rather early and so fritz got an advantage
right away that it later converted to a win but the second game the reverse
happened and hiarcs got a pawn up at one point in the game but could not win the
endgame and so it ended in a draw. all in all I was very surprised that hiarcs
could hold its own at all due to lack of speed against fritz. I just have the
second game, enjoy.
