I read about this on the German CSS forum, where someone mentioned this "losing memory" problem. I've tested this with a testposition, DJ9 having 256MB Hashmem, in analysis mode. After finding the keymove in 5 minutes, I played the move on the board and the evaluation went up from there. Then I took back the move... Any other engine will find the keymove in his hashmem, but not DJ9! It takes the same time (5 min) to find the move again. Default parameters: clear hash unchecked. This could also influence the ongoing Shredder8-DJ9 match, where pondering is off. (3-1 for DJ9 atm) Is this a bug? Greetz, Rick
