Hi, I installed the latest download at www.playchess.com/updates/support/gui8.iup It gives me a help/about date of dec 21, 2004, which coincidentally is the download date (today). I checked the gui for the database saving bug and the result is that it still is there. If you want to check yourself, first make sure you save your current gui or update file before installing this update. Here is how I checked: install the new update, file, open, tournament, <choose a tournament>, crosstable, tools, copy to clipboard, <OK> If it crashes, the bug is there. Otherwise, you are fine. -cheers
