Gandalf 6 is in my opinion, worth a buy. It can be run in Chessbase, and in its native Chesspartner! Have you picked up Arena 1.1. That has been made available for download, for free! Gandalf runs here in uci mode. Plus there are quite a few uci engines available for nothing. One to consider is prodeo 1.0.. I can send an engine for this that is up to date. Blitz_Oct_04.eng... Junior 9 is also on general release, but has several bugs in the gui. The engine is fine, but one of the wheels is loose? Should be patched soon! Shredder 9 is up and coming, seems worthy of consideration. Some ideas for free, and some to soak up the hard earned cash! Merry Christmas Chris
