I run 1 DVD drive + 2 HD's + the 100 watt consuming socket 758 AMD 3400+ (2.4Ghz) succsesfully on a 300 watt tower without problems. If I remember well an average hd consumes 30 watt. I always connect the monitor directly on power (not via the case). Michel
