NPS is an (almost) irrelevant measure. You cannot extrapolate strength from NPS alone. "The proof of the pudding is in the eating." In other words, it plays as well as it plays. From the evidence we have, it is probably very, very strong. But we only have a few measurements. I think we have enough to know it is probably an elite engine. But we don't know how rarified. On the other hand, the strength per dollar might not be that great. Will it beat an 8-Way 64 bit machine running Shredder 8 (either in strength or cost)?
