Hi Steve,

For what it is worth, after examining the inside of your robot's arm, I doubt
their lubricant is dried up. Your lubricant was nearly new and did not seem to
be of a type that dries up, even after 22 years. Of course it is always possible
that your unit has a different lubricant, but I suspect something else wrong
with their mechanical arm. If I had to guess it would be that the plastic inner
gears or cogs are worn, or perhaps that some part is cracked.
