The difference between 128 MB and 32 MB is very small(probably only 12-14 elo)

I guess that it is possible that Shredder was slowed down significantly during
the match.

I think that it is better not to use more than 1/8 of the available ram for
engines.

I remember that Igor inspite of having 256 mbytes does not use 64 mbytes per
engine in the infinite loop because there are problems with it when one engine
is slowed down significantly.
