Hi Uri! On December 23, 2004 at 14:37:24, Uri Blass wrote: >How do you do it? > >You need an interface for that purpose and I have no idea how to develop an >interface. Well one reason I am writing this application is that I need to design an interface for an Interfaces course (or more exactly Computer-Human-Interaction is the full name). It was painful to start - I did a sketch in photoshop and had a graphics artist help me correct my ugly drawings and I think I got something nice. At the moment I am writing prototype code to test it all and change until I get something I would play with delight. Hope I get there :) It's a lot of thinking and trying but it's very involving and funny ! >I also want movei to show the users diagrams but I have no idea how to do it. > >One reason is simply that I want movei to try to teach me to play better by >asking me the right questions and responding to my replies. > >I have ideas what questions to ask but I cannot even start to develop it with no >interface. Do a ver 1.0 interface. Build a working prototype and play against it. Play with it and ask yourself what is working and what is not working right and why. At least this is what I'm trying to do. At the same time I check game design books to see if I can find good ideas. Regards, Andrei
