Uri, I have tried to get more information on that asking in the Arena support forum. But I did not get additional information. For me the situation seems to look like following: the Arena team would not like that there would exist download possibilities for Arena which would be beside of their control. The Winboard forum obviously does not like to filter such links from its postings. And both parties seem to be unable to clear that conflict seriously. Though links are quite normal in the Web, it is a different situation to offer foreign contents at one's site without permission. In my opinion establishing a download possibility clearly is exeeding having a simple link at a Web page. So the Winboard forum should take care on providing not approved download links. But especially at Christmas time it should be possible that the involved people will find a serious solution for that problem without involving lawyers and of course without banning wildly selected people.
