hi pavs, i agree with you. i'm not to sure exactly what the problems are with this arena thing.its to long and protracted to get a handle on it. it seams to me though every time volker gets things ironed out,this arena thing gets restarted at a higher level. allmost like a planned stratigy. i only read here and wbforum,for the most part so i'm not aware of the goings on in the other popular forums. i get the distinct impression that the arena folks are starting most of the problems. did you read there copy write statement? first it says you can link and download then it says exept you cant down load arena or any related stuff. i've read it.thats what it says. allmost as if they are baiting a hook to see who bites. i think volker is right to be alarmed. what could be so serious as to have your own isp threaten to drop you? you would think the arena team would want all the free publicity it could get. i've been on these forums and other chess related sites since 1999 and never have seen such the likes as this arena thing. it does'nt make any sence,unless of course its a planned thing against volker,and,or wbforum.
