Thanks for the post and the e-mail Mike. I was able to take the plug apart
before I saw your message. I have to preface this by saying that do play with
electronics sometimes. I checked the plug and I was thinking that I should be
able to use my 110-240V converter. So I changed it to a 2-round UK pin and using
my multimeter I checked the adapter disconected from the computer. Strange thing
is that it shows a steady 11.58v DC! Taking it one step further (don't try this
at home!) I pluged the adapter into the Conchess and it's working great! But I
won't take my chances and will try to get another adapter/converter. I just
couldn't help it but had to try it! Am I brave? No, I'm stupid and stubborn! :)

I love this baby! It's a pleasure to play with! It feels so natural moving the
pieces and the sensors are great! I liked them better than the ones from the
Excalibur Grandmaster - I comparing to that one because it was a recent
auto-sensory that I played with.

Now I'm in need of a good copy of the manual! It came with a copy that is usable
but I feel there are things missing and in some pages the text is cut off.

Also, I'm very curious about a couple of things. Why two slots? It says that in
some countries it may only have 1 to comply with some local orinance, what's
that? I would also like the know the ELO rating, I haven't found any from the
lists that I searched for except for some vage reference to it being around
1600-1800.

Another thing I personaly liked was the audible beep. It's quiet, nice and
simple, unlike some in today's units that sound very intrusive and
'non-elegant'. Again, my humble opinon.

Conchess regards,

Ismenio
