You have to add it manually.

Create a plain text file named "Shredder 8 UCI.UCI" with following text (do not
copy the "equal signs":

=========================================
[ENGINE]
Name=Shredder 8 UCI
Author=Stefan Meyer-Kahlen
Filename=..\Engines\UCI\Shredder8\Shredder8.exe
[OPTIONS]
OwnBook=false
========================================

Now when you select engines, you should see "Shredder 8 UCI" as an optional
engine to select.

Best,

Michael
