Maybe, maybe not. I don't think it's that simple. I do know for a fact that the
best chess database update system is not TWIC contrary to popular opinion. It is
the paid subscription service offered by Convekta. They get on average twice the
number of games per month, delivered by e-mail (or downloaded via Chess
Assistant) in PGN format (for CB users for example) or Chess Assistant's native
format. They get many Russian and Eastern Europe events, not to mention team
events among others, that don't make it to TWIC.
