I seem to be having some problems re Shredder 8 uci, similar to the recent postings concerning this. I bought Shredder 8 (Chessbase) quite sometime ago when new. When I attempt to install Shredder 8 as a uci engine, (had not done this before with Shredder) I get "Shredder 8 already exists." I tried putting the following as a text file into the folder, C:\Program Files\ChessBase\Engines\UCI\Shredder8: [ENGINE] Name=Shredder 8 UCI Author=Stefan Meyer-Kahlen Filename=C:\Program Files\ChessBase\Engines\UCI\Shredder8\Shredder8.exe [OPTIONS] OwnBook=false as posted earlier. However, I continue to get "Shredder 8 already exists." as mentioned when I attempt to create a uci engine. What am I doing wrong? TIA
