Hi Chris
The win of Shredder8 is not due to the book of Junior9.
I have examined this carefully and below some examples
J9's assessment after 1st book move / result
+0.39/1
-0.35/0 (!)
+1.16/0 (!)
-0.67/1 (!)
+0.12/0
+0.72/0 (!)
+0.45/0,5
-0.41/0
+0.28/0
-0.65/1 (!)
+1.35/0,5 (!)
and so on. When studying the game you will see that Shredder8
is in almost all situations a little bit better than Junior9
at the time control 40'/40 we have played.
