I did take a look at the master's manual and you are correct, the E1 should play very bad chess. If this unit was brand new I would say let the store you bought it know about the promlem and email bperkins@saitekusa.com if you are in the states. depending on his answer you might want to exchange it with another or get a refound since the machine is not working as intended. all the best Murat ...
