As a sanity check, press down the recessed reset button with a small paper clip. One an indicated level does not work right, that is may the fix. I am not familiar with this model, but if it like other Saitek models, there should be small hole on the bottom side of the unit just large enough for a small paper clip tip to go though. Press lightly, and then change the level. This procedure has worked on the COSMOS unit when it refused to move off the weak levels.
