I have looked at this casually , and there does seem to be a range of 50 -100 -
.i.e.,  FIDE= USCF - (50 to 100). The players I looked at were in the higher
range,

For simplicity, 75 may work just as well since these are just estimates anyway.

FIDE=USCF-75 or

USCF=FIDE+75.
