I am an active 1900 uscf tournament player. Needless to say I lose, but with the white pieces I usually can hold on till the ending. With the black pieces I lose fairly quickly. Maybe this has to do with the program getting the initiative easier as white. I randomly choose which engine to play. I also use the engines for analysis. In this case I want the absolute strongest engine. Playing against computers is completely different than playing against humans. When playing humans you must always assume that they missed a tactic! Against computers you can forget about setting traps. They see everything. Regards Tony
