>Hi there Ulysses, Hi here Murat >I feel your pain bro :) Huh, what pain? >But solving chess is very simple, That's what I'm trying to prove! >have a computer which can search 150 ply full brute force.hmm it might be a draw after all :) With ChessBase8 you can do something similar, but instead of 150 Ply root, you use smaller Plys per move. I've already said the problems that arise, but ofcourse, deep position analysis is better than a root one line analysis (You get better results deep searching the position 140 at 10 plies than the position 100 at 50 plies, and it's much faster!). >Now with todays technology the computer you need to do this will be as big as >the known universe. therefore you need lots of money to develop >""""""" A TIME MACHINE """"""" :)) No, Time theories haven't been settled, and while the chance of new dimension creation are the highest, there is a slim chance of traveling in time causes the universe to collapse (By the infinite regresion theory that also uses several [In this case, ethernal] dimensions with seconds in difference, which makes yourself to return to the same position in time and space infinite times each seconds, and since the same object cannot be in the same place at the same time twice, you may cause a chain reaction that causes the universe to collapse)... And while collapsing the universe would solve chess (Along with all the problems of humanity and aliens), I preffer it to be solved without messing the time structure out. So let's suppose I win the lottery tommorrow (I have a 1 in 13,983,816 chance), how would millions of dollars would help me to solve chess?? So have a nice year 2004, 2003 and till you born, if you happen to time travel backwards.
