The above position is very hard for most programs.  You must have made some
improvements since zappa 0.8, since my copy takes 4 minutes (ply 12) on a p4
2.8ghz to find it.

You peeked at the game, I think. :)  Anyway, alternatives to Rxd4 exist, but Qa3
still applies more pressure, I think.
